With just weeks to spare before the start of the 2008 Hooters Pro Cup season, Smith Performance Racing approached Dakota Creative to create a brand for the team.
Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Smith Performance Racing wanted a Total Team Branding solution that would include its surroundings while still being noticed on track.
Working closely with the team, Dakota Creative designed the teams look around the owners' vision. Using red and yellow, along with mountains, Dakota Creative created the teams logo.
After completing the logo, Dakota Creative created a marketing proposal for the team with all the needed information for prospective sponsors, along with team information and facts.
Finally, Dakota Creative created the primary paint scheme for the team. The paint scheme took the key colors of red and yellow and combined them with flowing elements to show off the team's logo ensuring the car would be noticed at 180 mph.
Dakota Creative took nothing, and created a total team brand for Smith Performance Racing with just weeks to go before the start of the 2008 Hooters Pro Cup Season allowing the team to have a unified look on raceday.
